A Very Special Thanksgiving Wish

Summer days have made their transition into the chill of the Fall.  For most, this transition signals the approaching season of togetherness. It is that special time of year generally reserved for slowing down to appreciate and be thankful for family, friends and all the good in our lives—even as the frantic worry over gift buying and laborious meal preparations looms mighty. Despite the hustle, we all find something to be grateful for within our personal and professional lives.

At Angel MedFlight, we are reminded through our daily patient experiences to be grateful through all seasons. Afterall our lives are touched by our patients, families, case managers and steadfast hospital partners every minute. Regular readers of this blog are all too aware of the hardships you, our patients and families, have endured; yet, together, we have also been witness to your remarkable stories of strength, love, and devotion. We have cried with you through your incredible feats of recovery and celebrated homecomings. Our hearts are bigger because we have felt the pain of your adversity, and heard the courageous stories of your triumphs. We are thankful for you; you inspire us. Your courage, and your strength, lifts our wings.

So from all of us at Angel MedFlight, from the flight coordinators who have become part of your journey and make the transport a reality – to the medical team and flight crew who ensure your care and safe arrival- and to everyone else behind the scenes who successfully work to make Angel MedFlight the best at what we do, we thank you.
